NEWS: Shelby American Selling Cars from Collection
Shelby American has new headquarters right off the Las Vegas Strip. In it, they have created a heritage center and a retail store to show some Shelby’s vehicles.
In a story from StangTV, it turns out that they have more cars than room, so they will be selling eleven rare Shelby vehicles that are currently in their warehouse including several prototypes and concepts like the Shelby Cobra Demonstrator/ Development vehicle, the 2007 Shelby GT Prototype, the 2010 Shelby Super Snake Concept, the 2011 Shelby GTS Concept, the 2013 Shelby Raptor Concept, and the 2013 Focus Concept to name a few.
Shelby has listed the 2007 Shelby GT Prototype for $175,000 including some of its original promotional material. This was the first Shelby to get a wide body kit.
Going for $200,000, the Shelby Cobra Demonstrator comes with a 351-based Windsor engine with a Paxton supercharger. This Cobra was built as a 289FIA spec racer.
The 2010 Shelby Super Snake Concept is on sale for $125,000 and comes with a jaw-dropping 750 horsepower.
Looks like owning a piece of Shelby history will not come cheap. You can find a complete list of the vehicles being offered at the Shelby American website.
