Woodward Dream Show Returns for 2022
Two Days of Car Enthusiast Activates in The Motor City
Celebrating 90 years of the 1932 Ford “Deuce” coupe, Lincoln Motors 100th birthday, and the Pontiac Firebird turning 55, the 2022 Woodward Dream Show Presented by Comerica Bank kicks off August 19th, 2022 at the iconic M1 Concourse bringing together car enthusiasts from every genre imaginable. Whether you’re into hot rods, customs, cruisers, muscle cars, or all the above, the Woodward Dream Show has something special for you. Get your tickets here.
In addition to experiencing the more then 650 iconic, hand-picked vehicles that make up the Woodward Dream Show, enthusiasts can take a shot at racing off-road R/C cars on M1’s custom-built off-road track; indulge themselves in the Race Speed Track Experience riding shotgun with one of M1’s professional drivers around the 1.5 mile Champion Motor Speedway, and enjoy music, guest speakers, entrainment, awards, and more at the M1 Stage.
Car clubs are invited to apply for a “Car Corral” where an area within the show will be designated specifically for your club members to park and enjoy the Woodward Dream Cruise weekend with in/out privileges, and access to all activities at the show, plus the possibility of participating in the invite-only Woodward Dream Parade. This year’s “Insiders Garage” hosted by “Big Jim” O’Brien from 94.7 WCSX includes an exclusive panel discussion with experts like Adam Genei, creator of Mobsteel; Kevin Byrd, co-host of Two Guys Garage; Steve Mank, Musclecar co-host; and hot-rod and custom-car designer Murray Pfaff from Pfaff Designs.
If you’re looking to ‘fill the tank’ be sure to swing by the Arena Biergarten or Pit Stop Alley where premium food trucks will be on-site and beverages available for purchase.
Another highlight of this year show is the State-of-the-art Peoples’ Choice voting style digital voting systems available on the show grounds where attendees are encouraged to cast their vote for their favorite vehicle in each class. Also, during the show be sure to stop by the Lifestyle Pavilion and check out the displays from M1’s partners and vendors.
Saturday, August 2022, by invite-only, selected cars and guests hit the road in The Woodward Dream Parade; a police-escorted 200 vehicle parade cruising Woodward Ave and downtown Pontiac’s historic Widetrack Drive.

2022 Woodward Dream Show Schedule of Events
Friday, August 19, 2022 WOODWARD DREAM SHOW PRESENTED BY COMERICA BANK Hours of Operation: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM Woodward Dream Show opens to the public, including shuttles service between off-site parking and M1 Concourse. Adults (18 & Over): $50.00 General Admission (13 – 17): $25.00 General Admission (12 & Under): Free 10:00 AM Woodward Dream Show opens to the public with food trucks in the Woodward Paddock and Arena, the M1 Kid Zone in the Woodward Paddock as well as r/c cars, slot cars, and pedal cars. Show car voting via QR Code electronic voting begins. Note: QR Code Readers are built into more smartphones. Simply open the camera app and center the QR Code within the camera frame. A prompt should appear. Click on the prompt to open a link to vote for that car. 11:00 AM Biergarten opens in Arena (next to the stage) and M1 Concourse will begin to offer Race Speed Track Experiences on North Loop of the track. 12:00 PM Join us at the M1 Concourse Stage for the live unveiling of Mobsteel’s Motor City Vice. Celebrate 100 years of the Lincoln brand and get an opportunity to see, sit in and take a selfie with this never-before-seen automobile. 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Live music on the M1 Concourse Stage will start. The stage is located in the Arena (next to the Biergarten). 4:00 PM Automotive Heritage Foundation’s Automotive Heritage Awards will take place at the M1 Concourse Stage. 5:00 PM Show car voting via QR Code electronic voting closes. 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM M1 Concourse presents the “Insiders’ Garage”, conversations that go under the hood with auto experts and insiders, hosted by “Big Jim” O’Brien of 94.7 WCSX. No outside food or beverage allowed. | Saturday, August 20, 2022 WOODWARD DREAM PARADE PRESENTED BY COMERICA BANK & CAR CLUB CORRALS Hours of Operation: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Invited and Approved Car Club Members: No Charge Woodward Dream Show opens to the public, including shuttles service between off-site parking and M1 Concourse. 8:00 AM Rapid Street – Gate 4 opens for registered club cars to park and organize on the M1 Concourse grounds. Check-in, wristbands, and parking assignments are discussed. 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM Woodward Dream Show Parade begins from M1 Concourse onto Woodward Ave. and through downtown Pontiac. The parade concludes and returns to M1 Concourse by 10:30 AM. 11:00 AM Woodward Dream Show opens to the public with food trucks in the Woodward Paddock and Arena, the M1 Kid Zone in the Woodward Paddock as well as R/C cars, slot cars, and pedal cars. 12:00 PM- 7:00 PM Live music on the M1 Concourse Stage will start.
