Bullitt Revival Continues To Tease with 'Special New Mustang' Listing at Barrett-Jackson

Lately there's been a lot of buzz floating around the web in regards to an all-but-confirmed Mustang Bullitt revival. Hold on to your hats Bullitt fanatics, based on a interestingly vague (yet provocative) auction listing spotted on the Barrett-Jackson website, we may now have a officially unofficial Bullitt reveal date.

Offered directly from Ford Motor Co, using a silhouette image of what is clearly a ’68 Mustang - the original Mustang Bullitt year (actual image featured below) for a “special new Ford Mustang”, the listing (lot # 3006) is overwhelmingly packed with Easter eggs that even the most modest Bullitt fan couldn’t miss. The description goes on to say that 100% of the sales price will go to the Boys Republic charity, coincidentally where Steve McQueen himself attended and years later would serve as chairman.

When you add this new information to the 'accidental' photos taken at Ford's design studio, the recent images of what arguably looks like a Bullitt-esque Mustang caught at a photo shoot in Chicago, and that 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the original Bullitt, it becomes excitingly difficult not to speculate.

What do you think? Could this be the reveal of all new Bullitt that's been teasing us for months? Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and grab the popcorn then tune in to the LIVE broadcast of the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction on Friday, January 19th, 2018 at approximately 7:30PM to find out.
