The 2015 Mustang is coming out soon with a new look, a new independent suspension and according to a leaked dealer order guide from the MustangG6.com forums a new turbo charged 4 cylinder appropriately named the Mustang EcoBoost.

Rumors have been swirling around that Ford include an SVT badge or resurrect the SVO name plate. The new name pretty much confrims Ford isn’t looking to put an EcoBoost V6 engine into the next gen Mustang, at least not immediately.

The order guide confirmed the EcoBoost Mustang will be available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission with 3.31:1 rear gears in the manual and 3.15:1 rear gears in the automatic.

The guide also disclosed the Performance Package for the Mustang EcoBoost which includes:

  • Upgraded to the 3.55:1 rear

  • 19 inch High Gloss Black aluminum wheels with summer tires

  • Heavy duty front springs

  • Upgraded rear sway bar

  • Larger brake rotors with four piston calipers

  • Beefier radiator

  • Rear spoiler delete option

  • Unique steering tuning

  • Stability control

  • “Unique Chassis Tuning”

  • Aluminum dash panel

  • New gauge pack indicating oil pressure and a boost
