NEWS: Mustang Raffle to Benefit Multiple Sclerosis

May 7, 2014

Ford has built a one-of-a-kind 2015 Mustang 50 years convertible to be raffled off to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, a group Ford has supported for years. The winner will be announced at Mustang Alley during this years Woodward Dream Cruise on August 16, 2014.

For this special edititon pony Ford started out with a 2015 Mustang GT convertible with a six speed manual then bolted on their special performance pack making this drop-top a true 1 of 1 Mustang.

The performance pack adds upgraded Brembo brakes, 19 inch wheels with Pirelli P-Zero’s and a limited slip diff. They have also put other exclusive features including Wimbledon White Paint, chrome accents around the taillights and emblems, a 50 years badge on the rear, contrasting stitching, and exclusive 19 inch wheels. The dash plaque wears a 0001 of 0001 badge with the signature of Ford Chairman Bill Ford.

Similar to the 50 Year Limited Edition fastback, this pony includes some bit-and-pieces to set it off from other 2015 Mustangs:

  • Wimbledon White exterior paint

  • Chrome-accented grille with corralled pony emblem

  • Chrome accents around the tri-bar taillamp lenses

  • Axle spin-finish aluminum instrument panel trim

  • Rear decklid badge with “GT 50 Years” identification

  • Two-tone cashmere and black leather seats

  • Contrasting cashmere stitching on instrument panel, steering wheel, shift boot, door inserts and seats

  • Loop-carpet floor mats with cashmere stitching and suede binding

  • 19-inch Y-spoke wheels inspired by the chrome steel wheels offered on original

  • MustangOwner’s guide in a leather portfolio with “50 Years” badge on the outside

Tickets are on sale now at www.ford4ms.com for $20 a piece  but keep in mind there are only a limited number of tickets available.
